For Carine, known artistically as Demaca, painting is more than expression—it is a dialogue between nature, memory, and feeling. Having lived for 27 years on the island of Zakynthos, her work carries the imprint of sunlit skies, turquoise waters, and the soulful rhythm of the sea. Returning to Belgium, she continues to weave her experiences into abstract compositions that awaken introspection, wonder, and connection.
